One of the absolute highlights of my year! Getting to hang with the amazing Zoltan Chaney behind the drum kit, during the show as Slaughter headlined the Buffalo Rose in Golden, CO on May 25, 2019.
About Chris Deutsch
In the mid-1980s, Chris Deutsch published Front Row magazine in Denver, and did photography for a variety of other publications. For many years, he photographed almost every major show that came through Denver. His portfolio includes many great bands and performers at the peak of their careers: Van Halen, Kiss, Bon Jovi, U2, Iron Maiden & Elton John. Chris also photographed other performers like Motley Crue, Scorpions, Whitney Houston and Cyndi Lauper when they were just getting started. Sometimes there were surprises, such as when a relatively unknown band named Metallica opened for Ozzy Osbourne.
