Mickey Finn's mohawk may be gone, but the rock n' roll attitude was firmly intact as Jetboy lit up the Buffalo Rose in Golden in May of 2016. Fernie Rod is one of the most entertaining guitarists I have seen in a while, and the band was clearly at the top of their game with new bass player Eric Stacy (fromerly with Faster Pussycat) making his debut. Even if you did not know a single song, this is a concert you would have enjoyed, with "Feel The Shake" and a great cover of "Folsom Prison Blues" capping an excellent evening. About Chris Deutsch
In the mid-1980s, Chris Deutsch published Front Row magazine in Denver, and did photography for a variety of other publications. For many years, he photographed almost every major show that came through Denver. His portfolio includes many great bands and performers at the peak of their careers: Van Halen, Kiss, Bon Jovi, U2, Iron Maiden & Elton John. Chris also photographed other performers like Motley Crue, Scorpions, Whitney Houston and Cyndi Lauper when they were just getting started. Sometimes there were surprises, such as when a relatively unknown band named Metallica opened for Ozzy Osbourne.
