"A Conspiracy of Hope" was the name of the benefit concert tour for Amnesty International that stopped in Denver in June of 1986. Here is a photo from Bryan Adams' performance with long time guitarist Keith Scott to his right.

Chris Deutsch

In the mid-1980s, Chris Deutsch published Front Row magazine in Denver, and did photography for a variety of other publications. For many years, he photographed almost every major show that came through Denver. His portfolio includes many great bands and performers at the peak of their careers: Van Halen, Kiss, Bon Jovi, U2, Iron Maiden & Elton John. Chris also photographed other performers like Motley Crue, Scorpions, Whitney Houston and Cyndi Lauper when they were just getting started. Sometimes there were surprises, such as when a relatively unknown band named Metallica opened for Ozzy Osbourne. There were also less well known but equally interesting performers like Yngwie Malmsteen, Will Sexton and Jello Biafra to name just a...
