Artist's Description

This was in August of 1986, right after the release of Look What The Cat Dragged In. In fact, Poison was the opening act, and Loudness was the headliner at the legendary Rainbow Music Hall in Denver. Later in the tour, Poison would be the headliner, as their album started to take off.

Chris Deutsch

In the mid-1980s, Chris Deutsch published Front Row magazine in Denver, and did photography for a variety of other publications. For many years, he photographed almost every major show that came through Denver. His portfolio includes many great bands and performers at the peak of their careers: Van Halen, Kiss, Bon Jovi, U2, Iron Maiden & Elton John. Chris also photographed other performers like Motley Crue, Scorpions, Whitney Houston and Cyndi Lauper when they were just getting started. Sometimes there were surprises, such as when a relatively unknown band named Metallica opened for Ozzy Osbourne. There were also less well known but equally interesting performers like Yngwie Malmsteen, Will Sexton and Jello Biafra to name just a...
