Motorhead '85 #1 metal print by Chris Deutsch. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. A few years ago I spent the afternoon driving from Newark NJ to Albany NY. I decided to play some Motorhead on Spotify. One of the songs that came up was a cover of "Breaking The Law" which I've never heard before. Lemmy totally owns the song. While I like the Judas Priest original a lot, Motorhead takes it to another level. These shots are from their December 1985 show at The Rainbow Music Hall in Denver, CO. In the early 90's I met Lemmy at a different Rainbow--The Rainbow Bar & Grill in Hollywood. He was sitting to the side of the bar, playing Ms. Pacman. I challenged him to a couple of games. He won. Definitely a cool guy and the quintessential metal dude.

In the mid-1980s, Chris Deutsch published Front Row magazine in Denver, and did photography for a variety of other publications. For many years, he photographed almost every major show that came through Denver. His portfolio includes many great bands and performers at the peak of their careers: Van Halen, Kiss, Bon Jovi, U2, Iron Maiden & Elton John. Chris also photographed other performers like Motley Crue, Scorpions, Whitney Houston and Cyndi Lauper when they were just getting started.
