Motley Crue played a legendary show in November of 1983 in Denver. Shout at the Devil had just come out, it was a snowy winter night, and the Rainbow Music Hall was packed. Here's Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee and Mick Mars. If you look carefully you can see Vince Neil's arm behind Nikki.

In the mid-1980s, Chris Deutsch published Front Row magazine in Denver, and did photography for a variety of other publications. For many years, he photographed almost every major show that came through Denver. His portfolio includes many great bands and performers at the peak of their careers: Van Halen, Kiss, Bon Jovi, U2, Iron Maiden & Elton John. Chris also photographed other performers like Motley Crue, Scorpions, Whitney Houston and Cyndi Lauper when they were just getting started. Sometimes there were surprises, such as when a relatively unknown band named Metallica opened for Ozzy Osbourne.
